Volunteers needed:
The Ohio Medical Reserve Corps (OMRC) need your help to be prepared in the critical hours after a disaster. The (OMRC) coordinates physicians, nurses, physician asst., nurse practitioners, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, dentists, LPN's, EMT's, mental health prof., social workers, veterinarians, students, retired healthcare prof., and other non-medically trained citizens that can assist with support to respond to the community during times of need, such as mass vaccination. 2008 FLU SHOTS
The Health Dept. is accepting walk-in's from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., please call ahead to assure a nurse will be available. We accept Medicare Part B, Medicaid, Caresource, Molina, Medigold or Railroad.
If your insurance is not listed above, the flu shot will be $20.00.
FREE HEARING CLINIC
On Dec. 10, 2008 the Health Dept. will host a free hearing clinic for children only. The clinic hours will be 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Please call for an appt.
