About the Pickaway County General Health District

The Pickaway County General Health District is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio and has been providing health services to the residents of Pickaway County since 1932. The mission statement of the Health Department is, “The Pickaway County General Health District will protect and improve the health and environment of Pickaway County residents by assuming a leadership role in health assessment, education, policy development, and provision of quality health services.” The District’s four divisions include Administration and Vital Statistics, Clinical Services, Environmental Health Services, and Tobacco Prevention Services.
